Q - How do I know if my stone chip is repairable or if I need to replace my windshield?
A - Many variables go into whether or not a stone chip is repairable such as length and depth of the chip and the placement of the chip in the windshield. We typically can repair stone chips the size of a quarter or smaller.
Q - What is your coverage area?
A - We service a broad area including Steubenville, Carrollton, Toronto, Hopedale, East Liverpool, OH, Weirton & Wheeling, WV, Burgettstown, PA and surrounding areas.
Q. Do you accept auto insurance?
A. Yes. We also work closely with your insurance agency to help make the process as easy as possible for you. We are also an insurance-preferred auto glass repair shop.
Q. How long does it take to repair a stone chip in my windshield?
A. The process generally takes about a half an hour.
Q. How long does it take to replace my windshield?
A. It takes approximately around an hour to replace a windshield.
Q. What if my windshield has sensors or a camera?
A. The process for replacing a windshield that has sensors or a camera is a little more involved than replacing a simple windshield. Windshields that need recalibrated take a little longer than a windshield replacement, but rest assured, our technicians are quick and efficient to get you back on the road as quickly as possible.
Q. Do you offer mobile services?
A. ABSOLUTELY! We offer FREE mobile services within the tri-state area.
Q. Do you have a waiting room in your shop where I can wait while my windshield is being repaired or replaced?
A. Yes. Our waiting room is large and accommodating so that you are comfortable while you wait for your vehicle windshield to be repaired or replaced. We also have available fresh hot popcorn (in case you have the munchies).
Q. Can you repair and replace windshields on RV’s, Semi’s or heavy equipment machines?
A. Yes, we do! Big and small we do them all!
Q. Does J.K. Auto Glass provide a warranty?
A. Yes. We offer a full lifetime warranty on glass replacement. We guarantee our auto glass against any manufacturer defect, leaks and installation for as long as you own your vehicle. (However, this does not include any stone-chips that may occur due to road hazards).
Q. The back glass on my vehicle shattered. Can you replace that?
A. Yes. We can replace any window on your vehicle.
Q. My windshield will need recalibrated but I have a busy day, do you have a loaner car that I can use while my windshield is being replaced and recalibrated?
A. Yes. We offer our customers, who have full insurance coverage, a courtesy car so that you can go about your day without any interruptions.
